Disneyland’s iconic Main Street Electrical Parade returns to Disneyland Park for a limited time beginning January 20. But before Disney’s longest running parade rolls down Main Street U.S.A, it sailed in the longest-running boat parade, the 108th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade!
Mickey Mouse and Disneyland Ambassador Allie Kawamoto led the parade as grand marshals. They were followed by a specially decorated boat that paid tribute to the Main Street Electrical Parade and played the well-known Baroque Hoedown as it cruised through the waters of Newport Harbor. Two long running Southern California traditions combined to create a holiday spectacle.
The Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade, cruised into its 108th year of electrifying the Newport Beach Harbor during five consecutive nights, December 14-18, 2016.
