We are excited to announce that the upcoming California Strawberry Festival that will take place at the Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard, “Strawberry Capital of the World,” on May 20 and 21. Oxnard is a city 60 miles north of Los Angeles and that means that in less than two hours you can be in a city founded as an agricultural and factory town!
About California Strawberry Festival
The California Strawberry Festival is known as the “belle of all things berrilicious.” And this year, the Festival grounds have been expanded by 50% this year on the park’s 15 acres. It’s an event of epic proportions covering 15 acres with 50 food booths, live concerts, 200+ arts & crafts exhibitors, cooking demonstrations and best of all “Strawberryland for Kids” with rides and attractions and the Strawberryland Kids Theatre. It is a great family event and there will also be a “Berry Best Dressed Baby Contest” for infants up to 4 years of age where they will participate to win prizes.

WHEN: 3:30pm at the Strawberryland Kids Theatre (sign up at the Strawberryland Kids Theatre 30 minutes prior)
Open to infants up to four years of age. Youngsters, with the help of their parents, parade across the stage to garner “oohs and aahs” from the crowd. All participants receive recognition.
Winner receives: A portrait session and $100 print credit with Toki Lee Photography; Petunia Pickle Buttom designer diaper tote bag, and a $50 gift certificate to the award winning Tierra Sur Restaurant at Herzog Wine Cellars. Also 4 tickets to a pre-season LA Rams home game in August (Rams verses Cowboys or Chargers)

The California Strawberry Festival
- Saturday 10am – 6:30pm.
- Sunday 10am – 6:30pm
$12 for adults, seniors 62 and over for $8, and children from 5-12 years for $5. Children 4 and under are free. All proceeds benefit southland charities.
Tickets will be available online at http://www.castrawberryfestival.org, or in person at the Festival entrance gates. You may use cash or credit cards for entrance fees at the festival, however food booths will only accept cash. There will be ATM’s onsite.

Free park ‘n’ ride shuttles run from convenient locations just off the 101 freeway offer direct access. Limited parking is available on site for $10.
