Say good-bye to everything you thought you knew about the circus. Get ready for aweing acrobatics, lights, high energy music, and amazing tricks! The circus of yesteryear with their elephants, tigers, scary clowns are long gone. Circus Vargas iLuminous brings you a modern extravagant entertainment for the entire family filled with upbeat and today’s hit music to good old oldies. Don’t miss the high-octane Yeromenko on the gymnastic bars and Patrick Marinelli flying high on the aerial straps.See the luminous athletic bouncers on the trampoline wall, the girl power contortionists, musical funnymen, light jugglers, phosphorescent trapeze artists, beautiful dancers, glow-in-the-dark motorcycle stuntmen, and more!
The theme “iLuminous” is about family unity in today’s technology obsessed society. It promotes family unity by taking a break from the day-to-day electronics that dominate our lives. Arriving early is a must, not only to get your snacks and drinks; but they have an interactive pre-show for all the kids where they get to go in the ring and do their own tricks. In the concessions area you can buy souvenirs, get face painting, or a dress-up picture. Arriving early also allows you to get the best seats, since it is not reserved to a specific seat when you purchase the tickets.
Right away it starts with amazing acrobatics. Every moment of the show is filled with entertainment.
There some things that I enjoyed and others that I didn’t really care for. My favorite part of the show was the saxophone solo played by one of the circus entertainers. As well as an awesome dare-devil stunt towards the end. Some of the things I didn’t like were the outside amenities such as the portable potties and the lack of food choices at the food court. For conservative families, please note that the show does contain mild skin exposure, tight fitting clothes, and sexual innuendos.
My son’s favorite part was all of the silliness caused by Stevie, the circus clown. Stevie is your modern day clown. Forget those red nose, puffy hair, scary looking clowns from the past; now Stevie is your modern and cool clown.
The girls’ favorite part was of course the Hoola Hoop Dancer Acrobat. That routine never gets old. Hoola-Hooping with so many hoola-hoops is every little girl’s dream! My mom even had her favorite part which was during the dance choreography to some great disco.
This show is made to entertain everyone in your family. It is created to be diverse from its fit characters, music to the actual talented routines. You can take Grandparents, parents, teenagers, and little kids and everybody will have a part of the show that they will love. And for you Star Wars fans, there’s a routine in the show that you will love!
So come out and catch this new re-invented Circus act before it leaves. It’s a fun family outing that will create new memories. A friend once told me you have to go to the circus at least three times in your life, as a child, a parent, and as a grandparent.
