Disney’s “Frozen On Ice” comes to Southern California

Jump into a Winter Wonderland filled with pyro-techniques, remarkable figure skating routines, detailed costumes, top songs hits from the movie, and your favorite “Frozen” characters. Disney’s Frozen on Ice presented by Stonyfield YoKids and this is just what every little girl wants to see, especially if Frozen happens to be her #1 movie of all time! My 2 daughters, little sister, and I made it a girl’s night out and we absolutely loved this winter wonderland! Being fans of the movie, you know what to expect and the show truly does an amazing job immersing you into the story.

The show was split into two parts. The first part is about 40 minutes followed by a 20 minute intermission for a quick bathroom or snack break.  There will be alot of merchandise that is available to purchase, but you should wait until the end, so you don’t miss any part of the show. After the intermission, the show continues for another 40 minutes or so to finish the story.

If you haven’t seen the movie, it’s okay the show does a great job telling the story just like the movie. It’s like chapter by chapter with your characters singing and dancing your favorite movie hits, such as “Do you want to build a snowman”, “Coronation Day”, “Let It Go” and “Only an Act of True Love”. They all come to life with skilled ice skaters and performers.
One of my girl’s favorite moments when was Anna was frozen towards the end. It was so real and she kept asking me “Mommy is it real? Is she really frozen?”. Then my other daughter loved the moment Olaf came out to join the cast! Lovable Olaf with his quirky sayings and his frozen cuteness. My little sister’s favorite part was the Trolls. Oh you will absolutely be amazed at how each scene takes you into the movie because of the characters, show effects, and props.

I have to say my favorite part was the ending after the ending where the entire cast of Disney came out ice skating for the grand finale. Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald came out to greet us and say good-bye. It’s nice seeing them part of the show because it isn’t a complete Disney show without our wonderful Mickey Mouse and friends!
It gets pretty cold in there, so I made sure I bundled up my little ones with a sweater, beanie, and scarf. Other than that the entire show was pleasant and fun!

After the show, you have to check out their cool merchandise. There is also plenty of merchandise you can purchase not to mention photo booths to capture that “Frozen” moment with your little one or for yourself. Merchandise is a little pricey, so be ready to splurge a little on just a few items.
