If you live anywhere near Southern California, or have visited here, then you know that our cars are an extension of our home. Sometimes we take it too literally and end up having more than we need in our portable “homes,” but the truth is that we spend a lot of time on the road. In fact, I spend about an hour round trip just taking the kids to school in the morning! And that commute is nothing compared to what the Hubster drives. So when the L.A. Auto Show comes around, you know it’s the place to be.
The L.A. Auto Show is open to the public. All you really need are admission tickets, and your drivers license so you can test drive vehicles. Yes – you can test drive vehicles for FREE! And if you’re looking to get a new car soon, the L.A. Auto Show is the best place to figure out what really works for you. It gives you the ability to make it a one-stop-shop for comparison shopping on auto makes and models – without someone following you around the entire car lot until you decide on a vehicle.
The show is split up into different areas, and one of the most Instagram-favorite areas is “the garage.” It’s where you’ll find dozens of customized vehicles – and you can get a glimpse of all of them close up! This area is located in the South Hall Lobby.
If you’re wondering, the L.A. Auto Show is totally kid-friendly. There are special activities set up for them including video games, virtual reality demos and kids’ play zones. Tickets for children ages 6-12 are $5 and children under 6 are free with a paying adult.
