Mamma Mia! is a celebration of mothers and daughters, old friends and new family found, so it was only fitting that my Mom joined me for opening night. We arrived an hour before the show started and took advantage of the fun photo opp that was set up for the evening.
Before settling in our seats, we also enjoyed the sweetness of the Mamma Mia! signature cocktails.
This was our first time seeing Mamma Mia! and it definitely lived up to its title of being…
One of the most successful musicals of all time, the eighth longest running show in Broadway history and one of only five musicals to have run for more than ten years on Broadway.
I loved hearing my Mom sing and dance to all the songs she knew! It was such a great experience and what a wonderful show it was!
So, don’t miss this spectacular musical at Segerstrom Center of the Arts from Nov. 22-27, 2016 THIS WEEK ONLY!
About Mamma Mia!
Mamma Mia! is the ultimate feel-good show that has audiences coming back again and again to relive the thrill. This week I’ll be at Segerstrom Center in Costa Mesa with my Mom, to join a crowd to have the time of our lives at this smash-hit musical that combines ABBA’s greatest hits, including “Dancing Queen,” “S.O.S.,” “Super Trouper,” “Take A Chance on Me” and “The Winner Takes It All,” with an enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship.
The story follows bride-to-be Sophie, who is on a quest to discover the identity of her father to walk her down the aisle. She brings back three men from her mother Donna’s past: Sam, Harry and Bill.
