Monster Jam returns to Anaheim Angel Stadium

Monster Jam is heading back to Anaheim Angel Stadium! It’s the perfect way to kick off the new year, and if you’ve never been, we have some super useful tips for attending Monster Jam. If you’re like us, it’ll be something that you’ll do year after year because you’re going to have SO MUCH FUN!!! We also have a tip on where to get a discount coupon to save on an adult’s ticket, so keep reading.

Tips for attending Monster Jam at Anaheim Stadium

Pack a blanket.

This is number one on my list because it gets very, very cold outside. The Angels Stadium is open and when the sun sets, the coldness comes along. Don’t worry – you won’t be the only ones with a blanket.

Bring a jacket, gloves, beanie. The works!

If you decide to go against bringing along a blanket, bring along all your winter clothing instead. You’re going to need it.

Earplugs.

It doesn’t matter where in the stadium you are, it is going to be loud. The noise won’t just be coming from the trucks either. The crowd cheers non-stop so it is likely that you’ll want to protect your eardrums from the screaming and yelling coming from your neighbor. It’s also a must if you’re bringing kids with you.

Bring cash.

Sure, you say you’re not going to buy anything but the fact is, you will. The nachos and beer are pretty popular and the merchandise is pretty cool. I would suggest you purchase something that can be autographed, just in case you want to meet the drivers after the show. Also, cash is essential if you don’t want to get out of your seat during the show as vendors will make their way down the stands for your convenience.

Leave babies at home.

I’m sorry parents, but babies won’t get anything out of this experience. It’ll probably throw them into crying fits because it can get really loud, crazy and fun – and the baby just won’t understand what is happening. Wait a year to bring the bebe because then the baby will be able to cheer right along with the rest of them.

Tailgate.

Pack your dinner and bring it with you to enjoy before the event in the parking lot. It’s a great way to start the night and meet other fellow Monster Jam fans. The kids love this!

I really hope that you can make it out to see the monster trucks when they arrive in Anaheim. They’re so much fun and you can keep the fun going by picking up some fun monster trucks by Hot Wheels and making up your own dirt course at home!

Do you know if any of the Monster Jam trucks will be doing special appearances this year at Jiffy Lube or any local venues?

There really isn’t a bad seat in the house because the trucks are so big. I know a few folks who like to sit at the top to see the action from above, where as I prefer to sit a little closer (in the 200’s) to see them up close. The trucks move around the entire stadium, so you’ll be able to see them do their tricks from wherever you are. Also, there are kids everywhere… so unless you have a kid who needs to get up a lot, you should be okay in the middle seats too. Have fun!

If I get the Total Access Pass, can I go to the early pit party and leave the stadium, then re-enter when the main event starts ?

Hi Randy! There is no re-entry into the stadium once you leave without paying for parking again.
